Legal Reform Champions
Launched in the summer of
2003, ATRA's Legal Reform Champions is a nationwide campaign of
attorneys, scholars and business people committed to promoting legal
reform by recognizing defense lawyers who have distinguished
themselves by their dedication to end lawsuit abuse and promote a
fair predictable legal system.
Lawyers named to the list are selected based on the following criteria:

Speeches, editorials, articles and other effective public
communication;

Pro-bono support for reform groups;
-
Support for pro-tort reform candidates for office;
-
Service on judicial selection committees; and
-
Support of tort reform positions within state and national legal
groups, including the American Bar Association.
