Shannon Ratliff

 

Shannon H. Ratliff, sole owner and president of Ratliff Law Firm, P.LLC, has served as a lead counsel for Fortune 500 companies in a variety of statewide and nationwide class action and other complex litigation in which damage claims ranged from several actions and other complex litigation in which damage claims ranged from several hundred million to billions of dollars. In combination with his litigation practice, Ratliff has also represented clients before the Texas Legislature, most recently in connection with products liability and other tort reform issues.

 

Ratliff has been an advocate for tort reform through various published articles and speeches, including a recent speech in 2003 at the Second Annual Energy Litigation Program. Ratliff is a member of the International Association of Defense Counsel, a fellow in the American College of Trial Lawyers and has been listed in The Best Lawyers in America since 1991. He is a distinguished alum of the University of Texas School of Law and was awarded the Ronald D. Secrest Outstanding Trial Lawyer Award by the Texas Bar Foundation. Ratliff earned his LL.B from the University of Texas where he was editor-in-chief of the Texas Law Review.
