How do we create regulatory agencies that strike the right balance between protecting the public while not delaying or preventing very valuable products and medicines from getting to consumers? Richard focuses on the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to illustrate some of the issues in striking this right balance.  What criteria do you use to judge when an agency over-reaches its appropriate role?
