Paper Presentation and Panel Discussion:
Does Tort Law Trump FDA Compliance?
The
Federalist Society is hosting a paper presentation and
panel discussion on the FDA compliance defense, under
which pharmaceutical manufacturers are by statute
entitled to some level of immunity from liability
provided they comply with FDA labeling requirements.
Former
General Counsel to the FDA Daniel Troy has written and
will present a white paper examining the law in various
states. A panel of legal scholars and business experts
will react to the presentation.
